A Halifax firm, four of us
Tom started Wrenfold in 2009 after twelve years with a heating firm in the town. We still work the same way: turn up when we say, explain what we found, leave it tidy.
Who you will meet
-
Tom Wrenfold
Gas Safe engineer, started the firm in 2009
Boilers, heating and the trickier leaks. Answers the phone most mornings.
-
Ellie Marsh
Gas Safe engineer
New boiler installs and landlord certificates. Trained at Calderdale College.
-
Sam Okafor
Apprentice plumber, second year
Works alongside Tom or Ellie. Never sent to a gas job on his own.
-
Joanne Wrenfold
Office
Books visits, sends prices and reminders, and knows where every van is.
No photos here: in this example the people are invented. A real Wrenfold site would show the team and the vans.
How a job goes
You call or send photos
Tell us what is wrong and where. Photos help us bring the right part first time.
You get a price or a time
Same working day. A fixed price where we can, or the hourly rate where we cannot know yet.
We text before we arrive
30 minutes before, with the engineer's name. If we are running late, we tell you.
We explain, tidy, and you pay
We show you what we did. You pay by card or bank transfer when you are happy.
Registered and insured
- Gas Safe register no. 000000, invented for this example. A real firm shows its own number, which you can check on the Gas Safe Register website.
- Public liability insurance up to £5 million.
- Wrenfold Plumbing & Heating Ltd, company no. 00000000, registered in England and Wales (invented).
