Privacy notice
What we do with the details you give us, in plain words.
In this example nothing is collected. The forms run inside your browser only. Nothing you type or attach is sent, stored or seen by anyone. This site sets no cookies and has no tracking. The text below shows what a real Wrenfold privacy notice would say.
Who is responsible
Wrenfold Plumbing & Heating Ltd, 1 Example Street, Halifax, West Yorkshire. Email hello@wrenfold.example, phone 01632 960482.
What we collect and why
- When you send an enquiry or a message: your name, phone number, email if you give it, the postcode of the job, what you write and any photos. We use them to reply, price the job and book a visit (steps before a contract, UK GDPR Article 6(1)(b)).
- When we do a job: your address and the work done, for the invoice and the gas safety records we must keep by law (Article 6(1)(c)).
- Service reminders by text, only if you ask for them (consent, Article 6(1)(a)). You can stop them at any time.
Who sees it
Only our team. Our website host and our email provider process the data for us under a written contract. We never sell your details or pass them to marketing firms.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not become a job: 12 months. Invoices: 6 years, as the tax rules require. Gas safety records: at least 2 years.
Your rights
You can ask to see your details, correct them, or have them deleted where the law allows. Email us and we reply within a month. If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
